As you may have noticed I have disappeared from the web for a while. The reason was I took three weeks holiday to recharge my batteries.

London Design Center

So what did I do and where did I go? Lets start from beginning. The good times started some time before the actual holiday. It took part on Adobe Live Conference which took place in the London design center. It was very interesting event with lots of new information about new Adobe products. In my opinion Adobe is total leader in web design software at the moment so I could not miss this day.

Wembley Arena

Couple of days later I went to see one of my favorite singers who had a concert in Wembley Arena. If you are thinking George Michael you are absolutely right. It was a life time emotional experience. I was only very sorry that I could not take my camera with me. That would be great shots. Ivana took some pictures with her mobile phone so I might post those on the flickr later on.

South Bank

The next event could not be without my camera. I went to see concert of two Czech groups on South Bank. Dan Barta and Gypsies.cz. I have known Dan Barta before so I was not expected less then 200 percent from him and I was extremely satisfied. I have never heard about Gypsies.cz but they surprise me with a quality music. Both groups are top professionals and I think that even people passing by realized that as soon as they heard the sound. It is no surprise that both groups have got Czech Grammies.

Slovakia

After these music events I flew to Slovakia where I visited my family, friends and old favorite places. I spent one day with my friend Andrej in his organic garden near the capital. It is my dream world. Slovakia is situated next to Austria so I decided to visit Vienna for couple of hours. I was working there about five years ago so I knew how easy it is to get there by train. It takes only one hour to get there from Bratislava. Vienna is beautiful city with lovely atmosphere and art history.

Summary

So how was my holiday in general? Very, very refreshing with a perfect weather most of the time and a friendly people around. The only difference I have realized is that time is somehow moving faster back home.

Back to London.

London welcomed me with a heavy rain and two hours delay because of terrorists treats but we still love to be Londoners anyway.

So here I am back ready to work on my voluntary projects, take photos of everything what is moving, listen to last FM, travel around the city and country and to look for a first job in web design community.
