Read Plus is location based rss reader which allows you to read your favorite rss feeds in a innovative interface where you can quickly scan through all articles in particular feed and only read the one which grabs your attention. It also allows you to share your feeds with other users by putting them on world map.

This is my personal project, it was actually my course work for my PHP advanced course. It is free to use, no adds.
My part
My role was obviously to wireframe, design, build front-end and back-end as well. The site uses quite a few jQuery scripts, ajax and deals mainly with xml data.
Design
Design of the application went through couple of iterations and phases. The focus was on attention to detail of every single element. I have chosen the colour scheme which feels modern and corporate at the same time so it works with any content which comes into rss channels.
