Eye design is offline web gallery which collects images of beautifully designed products. It is dedicated to “creative sponges” who needs inspiration for their work or hobby. If you are architect, artist, designer you will find images which might inspire to create something unique and pretty.

This my personal project so it is free to use, no charges, no adds.
My part
I have covered all possible roles in this project. Wire-framing, design, front-end and back-end coding.
Design
The design is based on 960 grid using the 16 columns version. I have applied very neutral colour scheme in order to present the images of products the most. I designed very clear interface which works better on bigger screens as most of the creative people work with bigger resolutions. Attention to details was mainly applied to main navigation and icons.
Back-end
The site is using wordpress as back-end engine but some parts has been hand-coded in php to achieve the desired outcome.
Flickr images
The site uses Creative Common licensed images found on the flickr web site. The credit is always applied to original author of the photograph provided with a link to his/her profile.
