The targets for 2009. Mine and yours.
Some of you might remember my article - targets for 2008 where I was talking about gols for 2008. Looking back brings smile on my face. I have realized that giving yourself targets is a very good idea. Why do I think that? Because I have achieved almost all of them. I wanted to learn PHP and here I have almost finished my first PHP application using object oriented programming. I also wanted to create new design for my blog and you are looking at it right now. Another goel was to take couple of part time projects. I am currently working on 3 projects at the same time. Sport gols have been been achieved as well and I have even started training for half marathon. On the other side I have not been able to learn as much French as I would like to even I listen to French lessons 3 times a week during my time in the gym. Photography gol has not been achieved 100%. I just have not had a time to shoot as much as I would like to.
Targets for 2009
- Learn Adobe Illustrator. I have already signed myself to course in City University starting at the end of January. I want to create vector artworks and open account on istockphoto.com
- Learn and practice more jQuery & Ajax.
- Build Project +.
- Build Chelsea Portal.
- Build online shop and design small T-shirt collection.
- Read at least 6 books about web development and at least 2 about Art in general
- Explore more Typography. Find and use more interesting typefaces.
- Draw more images with pencil
- Run half marathon and keep on training 10k runs, gym, yoga, skating, roller-blading.
- Visit New York.
- Learn more French
- Take my camera more often with me so I could make more shots.
- Be always positive and nice to people.
